Day Three…. Fort Maggie gets shingles!
Well, they were working on the roof… put up felt paper and then shingles… it’s looking better and better!
Gypsy spent the day watching and she approves of the building so far.
She got her own little livestock metal bucket from the Tractor Supply Store! Oh how I love the Tractor Supply Store…. so many cool things.
And they have chickie babies!!!! OOOOOhhhhh…. I would love chickies!

I’m now a Session Musician!
I got a standing gig now for all banjo for Ike LaFontaine’s studio work! (g) At least I hope I’m the only banjo player that gets to help out!
I got to lay down some tracks for Paula for her new gospel CD that she’s recording… Nice lady! And some good stuff…. it’s not quite bluegrass… but it’s pretty cool stuff. Rob is going in next week to lay down some sweet mandolin work for her and Jeff’s going to slap a little doghouse for a number or two and make it just right… a touch of grass!
Ike is still moving in and getting comfy with his new digs… he’s adding comments on his Facebook site about having his first banjo recording in the studio!! How cool… Paula is hanging out and that dead dog in the middle is Jasmine…
Jaz is just a big old puddle of doggie love….
Isn’t that one purdy banjo? It was so nice looking in the sunshine… it was so nice out today!!! And guess what??? I got done picking and Rob texted me that Erin and Tim had their baby right then!!! First he said she was in labor and then a little bit later, he’s shooting me a picture of the little sweet thang! Olivia Irene Kilburn!! A new little Deepwater fan!!! Yeah! (g) We’re all so excited! Babies in the band family! Wonderful!
Back to work…. gotta get this done for Paula! Can’t wait to come back and play around with our stuff… Ike says he can mike all of us and get a sweet live recording of the band… that would be wonderful! I just love the whole recording process… it’s like graphic arts for music… just adore it… FUN FUN FUN FUN
Pin ItThings are starting to grow here on the urban moby farm….. how exciting! It’s still a little chilly out there… in fact the heat just kicked on for a bit… it’s getting a bit chilly out there, so I’m not too worried about lagging behind and all… but the stuff that’s out there is doing great!
Raspberries are all putting out leaves now! Yeah! No more stick garden!
The wheat is doing great… a little dense in a few areas, but we’ll see how it fares… it’s such a pretty color green….
Radishes are going great guns… but then when do radishes not grow easy and well? We’re not big radish fans but I knew that the girls would get a kick out of how fast they grow… me too!
Our little gnome fellow is guarding the onion sets which are all perky and sending up new growth and doing quite nicely!
One of my Siberian iris is trying hard to bloom! I suspect tomorrow it will be open and beautiful! I can’t wait….
And my daisies are blooming in my big pots by the front door…. purdy! Everything is doing nicely… I need to get out there and do a little gardening, but it’s been raining and I’ve been a little busy…. this weekend is crazy… three bluegrass events! But that’s fun crazy!!! Can’t wait!!!
