Fun Picture…

I love that Bucka Roo is standing still, watching over his flock of ladies, yet all the hens are busy busy busy. That is pretty much how it looks most the time in the yard. He is watchful and calm, they are all a tither and running about, and noisy and all that hen stuff!

I love that roo… he has taught me to adore roosters. I would have a lot of them if I could keep them all from fighting….

Watch out Ed!

It was bound to happen at some point.
The kittens discovered Edward, the guinea pig, living right above them in the office!

P>The little worts, they just climbed up and found him, then decided to watch him from the rooftop of his own little houses for a good long time. They were just not sure WHAT he was.

He pretty much treated them like an old grumpy man who is faced with young feline hooligans in his yard.

He chittered at them for a good long time, chased them a bit and then just gave them the evil stink eye until they bored with him and moved on.

Of course, I watched the whole thing and was ready to intervene if anything got too dicey, but I’ve discovered that with kittens, if you immediately remove them from something interesting, they will persist in trying to get back to it, over and over. But if they check something out and deem it too boring, they just wipe it off the To-Do list and that works a lot better.

They left and haven’t bothered him since!
