Goodwill Farm Score!

Fergus might not think too much of my sweet deal, but I do!

I got this little water play table at the Goodwill for only $1.  Yep, one little greenback!  It was $2 but they were having a 50% off sale and so I only paid $1.  It’s a Step 2 water play table and the toys that normally go with it are gone, but that’s okay, I knew it was rugged, and perfect height for some lovely little Shetland Sheep I know!

Add a little sweet feed and it’s suddenly a lovely little buffet table for the gang!

Cody is hogging the table with his longer reach… haha…. silly boy.  He can be a little pushy around the sheepies.  I’m pretty sure he feels he is much more superior on the whole farm animal ladder of importance.

But there are seven of them and one of him, so they don’t mind dancing around to get a good spot!

I think the colors are cute too.  And you just can’t beat the price.   If it survives the winter, then it’s an awesome little find!

I just love the Goodwill and thrift stores, auctions and Craigslist.  Aside from food and a few things like oh quick-crete, there is very little we buy new.  We always first, try to make it ourselves, and if not, then we search Craigslist and keep an eye out at thrift stores.  It’s the only way to go.

I’m pretty sure the sheep could care less if there are little waves and fish on the side of their new feeder.  They just want the sweet feed!

And even if the legs give way, the top piece is very sturdy and thick and I can always mount it on something else to keep it up.  Or heck, it would be fine on the ground, just a little lower for Cody.  I can’t see this not lasting for a good long time!

Cody is always good to the last drop!  He has the most sensative snoozel and lips, he will work a feed dish until there is nothing but the faintest hint of dust from feed.  Long after the sheep have gone off with full bellies, Cody Pony is there to make sure it is completely cleaned up.  He’s not one to waste anything!
