Mother’s Day Activities!

Just a lovely day was our Mother’s Day!  The girls helped me out this day and we worked on the homestead, just enjoying the beautiful day, the crazy critters and working on my lovely new courtyard garden area!!!  Love those sweethearts!!!   Thanks Maggie and Jessy!!!

Just shots of the day…  we planted three little fruit trees up front of our house and then some blueberry bushes and just did some leisurely work around the old homeplace!

I went to a plant sale in the nearby town and got a few lovely additions to my garden!

We found this lovely umbrella in the trash on big item day!   It is in pretty good shape, just had a broken arm.  Maggie fixed it up and made a little sun shade for the hogs!  They are going to start asking for slushy drinks from the pool staff soon.  They love the shade!  IMG_1113

Angus likes to be brushed after being sheared!  Feels good!

Planting three little dwarf apple trees up front!   I think it’s a lovely little addition to our homestead…  free fruit for years and years to come!  And a little cover up for the front of our sort of empty yard!
