Wondering where we were?

Sorry for being a little incognito!

It’s not on purpose, just mid winter slow down and such.  And a lot of personal things going on.  Mostly my whole dental adventure at the moment.  Trying to get my mouth in a nice healthy place.  Unfortunately, I neglected my care in this area for awhile and just, well, I had quite a little shopping list of things to do over the last month!  Three visits later, I am finally past the really tough, rough stuff and now have a couple more visits for the touch ups.  I am very thankful!!!

We have just been busy working out all the kinks in Maggie’s new company!  If you haven’t noticed, she started a little woodworking company back in July of 2015 and it’s been so successful and such a blessing, I can hardly explain it all!  Needless to say, it’s been super wonderful for Maggie and that is the best part.

You can see more about it all at her NEW website!

Go take a little visit!

Around the homestead, things are kind of quiet.  We have had a super mild winter, thank goodness, and the animals are all doing well.  We are waiting on our spring babies in a few more weeks…  Due dates begin around the first of April.  About 6 to 8 more weeks, I would guess.  Can’t wait to see the new crop of babies!  This will be the first group of babies from our new Finn ram, Lukkus!

Everyone is doing well, working, developing new routines and just trying to stay warm.  It’s gotten a little cold the last few days and it’s no fun being out, doing chores!  But I just got my first package of garden seeds and I know, with spring lambs is spring chores and sunshine!  Can’t wait…

Well, stick with us and I hope you are all doing well…  I will try and stay on track and back in touch!  I do have several posts that I’d like to write and share…  I will try and get caught up with the going’s one here at the Windhaven Homestead for Wayward Gals!
