Three Sundays of Spring…

For the last three Sundays of our spring here in northwestern Ohio, it’s been beautiful out.   During the week, we have had cold, rain and even SNOW…  but then the weekend rolls around and Sunday is just so beautiful and wonderful.  So I have been taking some pictures of those days.  We have been very busy all around, just enjoying the weather and then working on our little homestead… just picking up, cleaning, planting a few things, getting our barns cleaned out and our garden started.  I really want to have a great garden this year and we are getting started!

We also are working inside the house to get our big studio area all devoted to our fiber arts.  Weaving, spinning, working with our sheep fleece and such.   It’s great fun and very exciting to see our plans for fiber all coming to a complete circle.   We are waiting on one last piece of equipment…  a drum carder!  It might be awhile until we can afford one, but it will be the missing link for our on farm production of sheep to yarn!   How cool is that?

Well, I thought rather than try and write post after post about these lovely last Sundays, I would just make a slideshow and you can just imagine you are visiting…  with the critters all about, the warm sunshine and bright green grass!  It’s just lovely…  if the weeks were only a bit nicer, we would be so so happy!!!

Enjoy!!
