We were so happy to have cousin Wesley come and stay with us a few days!   Our first long term guest!  (Well, three days…  haha….  no one wants to stay any longer for some reason… could it be chores?  Hmmm…)

Well, anyway, we sure had a fun time.  We got in critter visits and strawberry picking, jam making, toads, fires, visits from friends, pot luck dinner, fireworks and so much more!   Can’t wait for next year, maybe he can stay a little longer!  We just adore having kids on the homestead…  this place and little nippers just go hand in hand!

Been a little busy and I apologize for the lack of posts…  trying to cram a WHOLE lot into the first of summer after that nasty winter!  Seems like there are dozens of projects and things that just have to get done!   Crazy!  But it’s showing signs of slowing down a wee bit.   The heat and humidity are driving us indoors during the highs of the afternoon…  and that will leave a little more time to wax poetically here on the blog!
