Think today I’m going to try and put together my office. It’s pretty close, I have a new shelf to assemble and pop aside the other one and I want to sort through my “stuff” that is in the storage room and find good places for everything. In a nice leisurely way. Just enjoy the treasures and goodies of my life and sort them in a way that makes sense in the space.
And clean up the kitchen good and tidy, just sort of take my time and do a good job… And bake a peach pound cake for the afternoon. Make an easy dinner for later on. Going to try and do just simple, enjoyable things today. Probably catch up on my email and do a little client edits, just keep up on things a bit.
I have to go out this afternoon for a quick errand and I think I’ll see if the girls want to come with me and we’ll do this surplus place just over the boarder into Michigan. Looks really cool on their website and all, and I know the girls would be interested in it. They like shopping for quirky things. Me, I’d like a couple barrels, I want to make some raised planters for herbs outta them and they have food grade barrels for like $5 each, so it says…
A nice simple day. How about you all?

Ah good! Yeah, I’ve def got to take it easy a bit, I think I pulled a muscle in my lower back and it’s just uncomfortable enough for me to have to take it easy for a little bit! You got plenty of time to get caught up!!! Thanks for all the comments!!!

The flooring project was nice. Love the desk. That’s a very nice accessory you have by the mouse pad, too (the furry, purring one!).
I love that new desk kitty! (gg) Thanks for reading!

I’ve been following your blog for about six months now; had to go back and read from the beginning and finally am caught up. Have to say I love what you did with your Moby and am looking forward to your adventures with Windhaven. You have done som much its amazing. I know what its like to buy a diamond in the rough and having to take your time polishing it up. We did the same thing two years ago and are still polishing away! LOL Windhaven already looks homey and will be even better as time goes on and I can’t wait to see the pictures.
Thanks so much! it’s been a fun trip for sure…. Enjoy your read!
