Cookies!!!!

One of the fun things I like to do is make cookies for my pets.

And I thought, hey, the sheep and Cody might like some…  So I played around and make these!  Super simple really…

And they were a hit!  Everyone loved them!

I made them in a little teeny cupcake pan, so they would be little bite sized nibbles and no one would get sick on them!

(From over eating!)

Angus gives them 2 hooves up!  Yah!   Cody loved them too!

Windhaven Hoofie Cookies…

2  cups grated carrots

2 tbsp corn oil

1/4 cup molasses

1 tsp salt

1 cup of oats

1 cup of wheat flour

Mix all the ingredients into a bowl, until nice and incorporated.  Either drop into small teaspoon drops, or roll and slice into rounds or press into teeny cupcake pans…  You could probably make them as a sheet pan, pressing out to about a half inch thick or so.  Baking times may vary.  Slice and then bake again for super crunchy treats.

Bake in a 350 oven until hard.  Mine in the cupcake tins took about 30 to 40 minutes.  Check every 10 minutes to get the right hardness for your critters.  The harder you get them, the more they will keep, I would imagine.  My flock went through them in about 3 days!  haha…  I just kept them in a jar after they cooled completely.
