Windhaven Sloppy ah, Petes… or something like that…

Just a quick little recipe! It’s something we made up a week ago and we had it again and I have to tell you, it’s really good. Quick and Easy!

1 pound of sausage. (We like a breakfast mild flavored sausage)
1 small onion
3 slices of American cheese. (Velveeta is best)

Brown up the onions and sausage. Chop up the meat like you are making sloppy Joes… I have to chop the onions kind of small because the girls don’t like big onions staring at them. Drain, throw in three slices of cheese and stir it all up. Serve on buns or bread or over rice or noodles. YUM! If you really want, add a dash of garlic powder or any other special spices you like. We’re kind of plain, we just add a dash of house seasoning. (Like a homemade Seasoning Salt)

It takes about 10 minutes max to make, warms up good, and is pretty cheap. But hey, cheap is good, and its even better when you use homemade sausage!!!! Super good.

  1. Mmmmm…. we love Loose Meat sandwiches…Or Sloppy Pete’s is good too!

I’ve not tried it with the cheese turned in — I bet it delish! Add a little jalapeno– and I’m good to go. I like it hot myself– as if it weren’t hot enough here already.

    Take care- Pat
