Farm Basket…

Can you believe I scored this perfectly lovely picnic basket at a barn sale on the way home from the livestock auction for only $7???

It’s beautiful! I want to use it to carry our farm wares back and forth to friends in the big city. Eggs and other goodies. I think it’s delightful!

Jessy got a cool archery bow, and a little leather quiver. She was very very thrilled. She is going with her Dad to an archery place in the big city to get a new string for it. She has plans of getting back into archery. She has a nice recurve bow and now this straight wooden bow. We have to go and get more hay and once we do, she said she’s claiming two of them to make an archery target in the back by the woodlot. Sounds like fun to me.

Maggie was broke. So she didn’t get anything at the barn sale. She spend her purse at the auction/flea market and bought a cool looking sword. I’m pretty sure it’s a cheap rip off of something, but it looks pretty cool hanging in her lair upstairs.

Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the sword and the bow. You’ll have to use your imagination. I just loved my basket too much and I forgot.
