A Visit to the Storage Unit

Yeah, we have a storage unit…. otherwize known as “outta sight, outta mind stuff storage…” It’s not very much a month… $25 and frankly, it’s pretty nice, holiday stuff and books and writing and paperwork and camping stuff and just stuff that we kinda forgot about, a few odd pieces of furniture, that kind of thing. Some sleds and old electronic stuff.

We were missing the sewing machine… yeah, we want to sew. The girls want to learn and I have this yearning to make some fuzzy soft floppy bunnies for some reason. Not sure why, but I just do.

So we spent a hour or three over there sorting and looking in boxes and all that. Brought home a van load to go through. Most have junk in them and we plan to ditch it. I’d like to get the unit a little lighter around the gills… so we can stash some of the stuff here at the moby, there… to save us from stumbling over it here!

I think that makes sense…. doesn’t it?

Funny thing was that we had the Lumi all loaded up and had to kinda of pack Maggie into the back… and when we were almost home… I found a CRIB IN THE TRASH!!!! YAH! I’ve been wanting a crib with slatted sides for my garden! For beans and peas to grow up and on! And so I had to stop and cram it in the top and Jessy had to hold one panel in the front! HAHA…. Talk about cramped van….

I’m going to get a little bit of copper wire and weave it in and around the slats to make the most perfect little pea fence that will look so cool and neat in my raised beds!!! Stay tuned!
