Those eyes…

Miss Evee always gets me with her gorgeous golden eyes. They are so expressive. She’s almost a year old now, just a few more weeks. She’s getting her head around her and is not quite so much of a total goof ball pup. She’s no refined and polite lady yet, but more like a gangly teen that can sometimes act like a young grown up but still can be a little wild at heart. It’s been fun riding the way of puppy growing… haven’t done it for nearly 13 years since Gypsy was a pip-squeak!

She’s up to almost 35 pounds and she’s a solid built little athletic gal… Jessy plans to start training for her agility once we get a nice flat area to make a training ring for her. They will both be good at it… Evee can jump like a deer effortlessly, and is fast as a cougar!

Our little friend Bella has been visiting for a week and at first, Evee was all about pestering the heck outta her. She’s just a little Italian Greyhound and is no bigger than a chicken. But she’s finally stopped following her around and bothering the little chickie and the last two nights they have even slept with me without a problem. Another sign of maturity creeping in. She’ll be a great dog in no time flat. She’s already a super cool little dudette…
