Kicking off the 21st annual Bluegrass Winterfest in Perrysburg Ohio!!!!

WOWWOWOWOOW….. What fun! Was nice to take a day off from the quiet desperation of wanting our farm SO badly… We’ve been on the books for this gig for a YEAR and I will admit, I was nervous at first, but playing music with my guys is just so much fun and such a delight. I never thought I’d be coming around the bend at 50 and playing in a band! hahaha… I feel like a kid at heart! Everyone treated us SO nicely even though we just the local kick off band! Actually, it was quite an honor to even be asked, normally this is a classy festival that is all top regional and national talent, so it was really cool. At least 400-500 people kicking around at some point or another.

My face hurts from smiling so much… I was so happy!!! Great time… There will be a ton of videos up there on our YouTube account if you want to see more… just click the little YouTube logo and you’ll be able to see them all I believe!!!

Now that this has come and gone, we’ll be going back to the whole mortgage hunt 2011… Planning on hitting some local small local banks and credit unions actually in the farming community and county. They might be a little more understanding and personal than a bigger corporate bank. Of course, there’s still a wee chance the underwriters will approve us, but we want other options on the table as quickly as possible. We’re going to pursue this until the place is sold to someone else. Not giving up. And it’s all you folks letting us know you’re in our corner and offering awesome advice, that is a great boost for us to get in there and make it our little bit of homesteading heaven!!!! Thanks!!!
