A couple days ago, our local grocery store, decided to have their chunky soups on sale for $1.30 a can! Wow… that is really cheap. They are usually close to $3 a can, so I decided it was worth it to stock up. We like making out own soup and all, but at that price, it’s good to have on hand for quick lunches and simple dinners through the winter. Add a slice of bread or a salad and you’ve got a pretty good dinner.

I’m really pleased at how our pantry is shaping up. We’ve got a really good stash of canned goods and meat in the freezer and all that. We had a pretty short week for sales and cash, but it was great that we could go through and not worry about going to the grocery store. I’m looking forward to filling up the new freezer with great sales and all soon. Should be good.
