Bella, the Italian Greyhound of my friend Jeff, is vacationing here at the Moby Dog Ranch for the last five days or so. Jeff’s off vacationing up north in Michigan and Bella is here hanging out and enjoying the good life.

Activities include…. camouflage snoozing….

Running around like a goofball with Gypsy….

Finding a dead bird in the yard and rolling on it…

Earning lots of doggie cookies for being a gooooood girl and going outside when she needs to go….

Running off on us ONLY once….

Enjoying afghan appreciation classes…

And of course, being snuggled and hugged and snoozing under the covers with me every night and being terribly jealous of Jack, whom wasn’t too pleased with sharing me with Bella, either.

Maggie was wrapping her all up tight in the afghan like a mummy… it was pretty funny. She also had a great time chasing and playing with the ferrets… And actually, the ferrets had a good time playing with Bella… in fact they chase her and try to get her back leg and wrestle with her… it’s pretty funny. Ferrets is not scared o’ nothing…. hahaha….

Well, she’s going home tomorrow… and we’ll miss her! She’s gettin’ a little needy… I think she misses her humans. We’re a good substitute and all, but hey, even after a week at the Dog Ranch, you still miss your folks and all. But I’m sure she’ll be back here and there. We always like having a extra canine around, even if the cats are bigger than her!
