Sauder Village Fiber Fest…

Last weekend, Maggie and I went to the Sauder Village Fiber Fest.  We met up with our friend Jess and then walked around the show and then went into the village as well!  Just a lovely afternoon for sure!  Maggie wanted to go to learn about the various fiber tools and such that folks might have had.  I will admit, it was a little on the low showing, attendance and vendor-wise.  Still, we had a nice time and talked with a lot of nice people.  Maggie found a new friend in a local woodworker of renown, Ed Rowe…  he does a lot of restoration work on old spinning wheels and looms and also makes new tools and parts.  They talked for a good long time!   Such a nice man.  It was sure nice to get out and walk around, even if my dang back was killing me!  (Apparently, I had pinched a nerve in my lower back!  Ended up at the chiropractor for the first time in my life and he relieved the pain in just two visits!  Amazing! )  Needless to say, it was a cool day and we did enjoy it!
