And now the last part!
We loved all the cool lights and all. Lots of folks had really decorated rigs…
We got the fire going and the girls and I did some smores and all, and they played with some light sticks we got (rechargable ones… FINALLY! Yeah… not the chemical ones… they are fun but it’s such a drag to have to throw them out…. )
Kinda creepy looking, eh? I love that camera… such cool low light shots….
Gypsy was such a little camper…. she had a good time I think. She got to go on walks and meet lots of friends, both human and canine, she got to be with us 24/7 and she was a good tent companion. She just found a spot in the sleeping bags and laid down… she was tuckered out.
In the morning…. pretty early because I’m not good at sleeping on the ground and was up around 7 or so… after getting to bed around oh 2 or maybe 3 am from picking and picking and jamming and picking and singing and playing and talking and visiting and all that…. hahaha… we finally got up and moosied over to get breakfast at the country kitchen… pretty good… eggs and bacon and toast and all that stuff… and then we packed up and headed home.
The Country Stage Music Park is a nice place, super nice people, great little camping park and not to far from anywhere in Ohio. Jessy of course, took a zillion pictures on the way home, that was fun.
I would so love to live out a bit like the folks we drove by and dreamed about being neighbors to. Some really nice areas, and really not that far away from civilization and all.
I’m jealous of everyone’s corn… mine is so ah, dinky compared to all the farmers!
Stopped and got my Amish basket and fresh eggs… their horse was waiting patiently in the shade trees.
Isn’t this a cool but kinda creepy looking old house? Can’t imagine heating the whole place…. wow….
Jessy being a goof…. she was having a good time… so was Maggie. I’m glad we went. I’m not a huge camping fan but you have to do stuff for your kids, because they love the memories and experiences. We’ll probably go out again before the seasons end… maybe even back to the Country Stage in September!
Once we hit the turnpike, Jessy got tired and promptly fell asleep as were Maggie and Gypsy in the back seat. It was a quiet ride home and once we got back to the Moby, I took a good long nap and caught up on my sleep! Well… that’s the world longest post with photos I think! And guess what? There’s 663 more photos!!! HAHAHA…. I think I weeded out the best of the crop for you….
