Well, I was ticked to find a lovely nice big piece of carpet remnant at the local Lowes store!  Only $16.38 for a piece that was 7 foot by 12 foot!   Heck, that’s cheaper then the most ugly area rug!  It will serve us for awhile for sure!   Until I can figure out exactly what to do about the floor and all.   We are just not sure yet.  Ratchet sure loves the new carpet, though…    He loves to roll around and over and lay on the floor a lot.  (When he’s not sleeping in his chair or couch…)  And it does make the room seem a little more finished…  sort of.  Best of all, it gives us a breather to really contemplate what to do in there for a while and if it ends up kinda rough, it can go out to the garden as pathway runner and continue to serve us!
