A Big Sign Job!

Maggie’s fledgling sign company is coming right along.   Slowly, at a nice pace.   Which is good because we are still learning the new machine and all the materials and programs.  Too fast and we might have some awful growing pains!   She doesn’t need to be aggressive yet, and just grow to fast.   We have some wonderful clients now and with some good word of mouth, we’re growing slowly and comfortably.

We have a great new client, Jerry’s Auto Salvage in Archbold, Ohio!  Jerry and his wife Shirley and all the guys there are just such awesome folks!  We love hanging out with them and just sharing time there.  We feel like part of the gang!  And we love that they are ready to help out with our old car Blue…  it’s just a great friendship forming.   We had a chance to do their race car a while back and that was so much fun!   We’ll be able to do more, and we have been… business cards, truck decals…  a tshirt design in the works and a couple big signs!

Of course, around here… there are always animal supervisors!  Luna and Lilly were right in the middle of it all, and Ratchet and Evee are hanging around underfoot as we start to assemble the sign!  DSC_0956

This was a big 4 foot by 8 foot sign for the side of their building!  Fun stuff…   Lots of vinyl to cut and weed.   DSC_0959

Jessy let a hand in helping because it was a many hour adventure!  DSC_0961

I love how she’s eager to help Maggie grow her business, just like Maggie has spent many years bagging rocks when needed and helping to grow Jessy’s business!   Such great girls…

I goofed up the 9 in the 419 area code!  We had to recut it.   Bad Mom…   haha….  it just got away from me and wrinkled badly…  DSC_0965

Can’t wait to see it up and on the building!  Maggie did a great job of painting in the comical tow truck for the corner!   Yes, it’s very much like the movie character and we are in the works to design a brand new only-for-Jerry tow truck!  He’s got a truck that is just like that character and it’s a bit of an icon for him!  All his grandkids think it’s the tow truck from the movie and he’s got a lot of memorabilia about that character.  However, he’d like to make sure that he has his own identity and very soon he will!  We’ll be doing several other signs for him…  and it’s going to be so much fun to see them up and around town!  Way to go Maggie!!!
