The lambs are growing up!

It’s hard to believe, but the little lambs are all going to about a month old in the next four or five days.

Seems like yesterday we were still waiting for them and now they are just so much of our life here on the homestead.  They are so adorable.   We just love them so much!  Their silly antics are just adorable to watch and experience.

We’re talking with some good friends of ours and I believe that several of our little lambs and perhaps an ewe will be going to live on their homestead.   That is just wonderful news!  I’ve very excited and so are they.  As much as I would LOVE to keep all of them here, that’s not quite in the plans.  By having some lambs born to help keep our flock going and then some to go and start new flocks, it helps to pay for their keep and that is just part of the whole deal.  But it’s just wonderful to think that our little pumpkins will just be a town away and will enrich their lives as they have ours!

Fergus and Angus are the sweetest pair of uncles…  they tolerate the little lambs so well, and we even catch them frolicking with them now and then.  Especially when the little ones are running about and being so silly!   Having babies around just makes the whole deal sweet for everyone!

Even the goaties like playing with the lambs!  It’s very cute to watch!
