Hi Sherri. I was reading some of your posts from early 2011, around the time you were hoping and praying for Windhaven Farm.
I gotta tell you, the most ‘farming’ I ever did was housesit chickens for some friends while they were on vacation (it was really neat to see them voluntarily stay close to home, and, collecting fresh eggs was so cool). I’ve gardened and preserved, but have never worked as hard as you and the girls do.
So, my question (or maybe an idea for a blog post) is what physical changes have you experienced over the last couple years? You must be a LOT tougher now then back in March of 2011. Working, lifting, carrying, mowing, painting, gardening, all those things would have to build muscles and endurance. I’ll bet there were nights you fell into bed completely exhausted!
