All 70 of our laying hens have been on strike the last week or so.

We’ve only been getting like one or two a day.

But the last two days, we’ve gotten at LEAST a dozen or two…  thank goodness!  It’s very humbling to have to buy a dozen STORE EGGS when you are feeding over 100 chickens!!!!

(70 hens…  11 roosters…  20 meat chicks…  6 fancy layer chicks….)

YEAH TEAM WINDHAVEN!!!   Our customers have been getting desperate as well… we will have eggs to deliver on Tuesday for the first time in awhile!!!!

(They are  a little dirty because the coops are all muddy and the girls come and go and make late winter eggs a little farmy!)
