We got Jessy a new top mattress to her bed… she really needed one! Her old one had sprung a bad spring and it was over 20 years old anyway… the box springs were fine, so we hunted around on Craig’s List for the perfect match. We found a nice clean freak lady that had a queen top in their travel trailer that was hardly used and they wanted to downsize it to save space in the camper. $50… can’t beat that for sure! And yes, it’s in great shape! Jessy thought at first it would be fun to stack them and make a super high bed! I just thought it was funny and she did as well… but it was just tooooo tall! Evee could leap up there but Ratchet was not into that. I just thought she looked like she was considering piling mattresses for a potential princess application!

Fun pix and find. My hubs and I had two box springs and a mattress instead of a frame. Felt GREAT for support to sleep on.

Yeah, those boxes box springs worked pretty darn good! Cardboard is super strong when you use it in a cell sort of design! Yes, she has gotten her room through decoration stage one… but I know she’s hoping to sort of do a little more this year!
