Emily is coming to Windhaven!!!

emily

We are so excited!  Nationally renown shearer, Emily Chamelin is coming to WIndhaven to shear our flock!!!   I was so worried about who to find and whether or not I should buy my own shears and try it and such and poof!  A connection made it possible for her to stop by through her route through Ohio!!!!!  She hails from Maryland, but travels all over the eastern country shearing sheep for mostly smaller landholders.  She’s been to New Zealand and does competitions, exhibitions and so much more!  Can’t wait to meet this amazing young woman and I’m sure the sheep and goats will be SOOOOO happy too!!!  (gg)

And the best part???  We’ll be able to see baby bumps I’m pretty sure!!!  Once the ewes are nekked…  it should be apparent whom is looking forward to lambs in a few weeks!!!!

Photos and video hopefully to come soon!!!!   She’s due here sometime today, as soon as she finishes up her first flock of the day!!!!
