Had a great show last weekend at our Glass City Opry. It was especially nice because our band got to be the opening act for the national bluegrass singer, Larry Stephenson and his awesome band, including one of my most favorite banjo players in the world, Kenny Ingram… since we run the concert series, it’s always a treat to be backstage and visiting with everyone. I got Kenny to bless my banjo before we went on stage and he signed it too! Haha…. it was a load of fun and we did a pretty good job, as told by our minions and peeps! We felt it was one of our better performances for sure, and why not… we were opening for bluegrass royalty and had to be on our toes! It was just a super night and I’m glad for my dual life… quiet country homesteader, bluegrass musician! I get just enough of the clapping and theater lights once or twice a month to last me through the agrarian lifestyle that I love now!!! Jessy took a bunch of nice pictures too… and I’m going to share them here with you!
