We have a new little friend.  Her name is Sweetie.   She is a guinea pig.  So now we have guinea pigs and guinea hogs!  Well, one guinea pig.

She lived with a friend of ours, Miss Monica, but she is getting very busy with her life right now as a young lady…  work and school and all that comes along with life.  And she thought Sweetie was lonely and not getting much attention.   She asked if we could give her a home with a little more attention and activity.  Of course, we said sure!   We love guinea pigs.

And how can you not like this little lady?  

She is quite the polite little piggy.   She is very clean, and has a little potty area that she prefers.   She talks to us when we come into the room and she is very friendly and likes to cuddle.  She is living in the big office where we are most of the day, so she gets to see people and watch what we are doing.   She seems happy.

We are winning her affection with goodies.  Because guinea pigs love to be spoiled with carrots and veggies and such.  She is no acceptation.  She has grown to anticipate her little treat each day and whistles at us for faster service.

Yes, she will fit in nicely at the Windhaven zoo!
