I love my kids… did I mention that ever?

I love that they don’t treat anything we do with complaining. I’m careful not to overwhelm their days with endless chores and all, in fact, they have most of their days free to do whatever now that it’s summer and all. I just ask, and they gladly join in. I guess because for the most part, I don’t demand they do it, I ask and they are glad to help out. If they can’t they know I’ll do it anyway. I like that. They are very good kids…

I couldn’t resist…. I got a pair of these perrenials at Menards the other day… the tag said “Goats Beard”… I need to look that up in my books or online. They are really pretty keen looking… different. I like the dark colors of their stems and all, and they are nice and tall. I like that in a flower bed, some various heights to the flora…

I found this little brown metal pocket somewhere and I just liked it a lot… It’s got a little bit of spearmint growing in it now.. Tim hung a screw for me under my cheery sun and I just think it looks cute. Can’t wait for them to finish rebuilding the door and get my old fashioned screen door on the Moby! She’s gonna look fine….

I found this old white camp teapot at a thrift store and it was just so cute… I’m not one into lots of doo dads and such, but this was just screaming for a little plant and all, and then we were at Lowes and Jessy found the most beatiful pinky purple calla lilly… and we knew it was the thing for the teapot.

And a little bit of herbs… spearmint! Doesn’t it look darling?

I’m going to paint and then make a bottle cap top to that little black table I got at a second hand furniture store nearby… but that’s probably a job for next week! I actually have to work this weekend and get a bunch of client edits done on their websites! Someone’s got to pay the bills!!! (g)
